What issues have there been in the U.K. ?....

Indeed, especially since the numbers reported on the Monday are usually in the 100,000 zone.I can’t remember who it was on here who said that they would start to ramp up from mid March. Mid March is tomorrow. But personally I think we are doing Ok as it is tbh.....
The obvious reason that they have been linked with a deady side effect.
Indeed, especially since our regulator is saying there’s nothing wrong with the AZ vaccine, it’s still being rolled out and the daily figures are still good for each day of the week when it’s compared with each one like for like from the previous week (I.e. last five Mondays all compared together for example). What lack of confidence?

Setting a very dangerous precedent these countries halting the AZ, now is not the time to mess about when protecting people should be top priority

It has not been confirmed that the reports of blood clots were caused by the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine. People should still go and get their COVID-19 vaccine when asked to do so.

If there were thousands of cases of clotting/thrombosis I’d agree with you but there’s literally been around what 20-30 cases. There’s been around the same with the Pfizer, why hasn’t that been paused?this is about protecting people, though - thats why they say they've taken this step

Lol yep. Not sure why so much is being made of this. In all likelihood, the AZ vaccine will be cleared and this turns out to just be the precautionary measure that it is. The probability of there being an issue is incredibly low, but when you're planning on jabbing a whole population, I'd imagine you'd want to be 100% certain you know what you're jabbing them with

I said that they are seemingly continuing to politicise the vaccine situation and that EU leaders have clearly stoked fears without any clear justification.you mentioned them in relation to this decision
