When I got there I joined a queue for about 5 minutes, then in for the jab and out a couple of minutes later.

It was the AZ vaccine and everything was brilliantly organised.

Have to say that today I had a slight headache - seen off with a paracetamol - and a slightly aching body, like the mildest of mild flu symptoms. Nothing to worry about.

Had mine about half hour ago, exactly the same scenario, in and out. Superb organization and very well run.

One thing to make note of:

If you get a text message from the nhs saying to book in online and your nearest centre is miles away (mine was 30 miles away) then just phone your doctors instead and book in for a jab there.

You will be able to get it done a lot nearer to your home, it might save you a lot of time and travelling.

I received a letter from the NHS saying I was eligible for the jab. The nearest centre for me is Whiston, contacted my surgery, won't be able to get vaccinated for another 2-3 months ; they're still vaccinating people in tier 6, I'm in tier 8.

A national day of reflection for 1 minute - for 125,000 people killed.

That is an insult.

A socially distanced ceremony and an inquiry into the catastrophic losses is what should be happening.

But that wouldn't suit these murdering scum.

Apologies for saying this again, but there could be no better way of getting rid of objectionable names (slave traders etc) from streets and squares than to rename them after local people who've died in this.

World beating, but let's all forget about it shall we.

Am guessing it must be down to surgery capacity and how many are in each tier as to how fast folks are getting processed.

Seems to be a bit of a lottery depending on your GP setup. I am with a medical centre whereas a guy at work is with a 2 man band type of surgery, he is in a higher tier than me and says he is still about a month away from getting his.

The lady that did my jab said they are doing them full time from Fridays to Mondays, there were at least 5 different stations where the jabs were being administered from what I observed, so in that regard, they are flying through them.

Was really surprised tbh, when I have been to the doctors before it's usually been a total shambles

We'll more likely have Hancock Avenue and Johnson Street.

They dont honour good people in this country, just utter human filth.
