Despite the mixed news yesterday thanks to a slight uptick in current existing hospital accommodations, it did go down in every region, even the region Bristol and Gloucester is in seen a drop and all of them have seen a decline each. It’s only London that has not and has been the problem child of yesterday.

Also, Worldometer has an ongoing tally of active cases and that is now nearing to drop below one million. Dave won’t be happy.

Good article here on the Brazil variant:

T-cells, by contrast, are effective as long as they recognise any part of the spike protein, so it is much harder for a virus to mutate to evade the T-cell response. “There is no way these variants are escaping T-cell immunity,” Shane Crotty at the La Jolla Institute for Immunology in California told New Scientist in January.

It literally says this in that article above.
Stop scaremongering.

Indeed, if anything has changed thanks to this variant, is a slight slow-down in the daily decline in numbers with a few odd rises in hospitals, but it’s still going down unlike the Kent one which caused a spike and a lockdown as it was detected well too late, unlike this one.

Good news with that link, defiently keeps Dave and the scaremongering MSM quiet if you were to show it to them.

Salient warning coming out of US from head of CDC Rochelle Walensky.

Warning for our right she is of colour assumed office Jan of this year, so Biden appointment, so please ignore.

Don't watch a great deal of news these days and of that very little UK news, but what I have noticed from the bits of BBC I have watched the latest NHS adds appear without actually stating it clearly that Covid is aerosol spread rather than just droplet spread as was first believed. Has there been any official confirmation of the change that I've missed?

You jump to the conclusion I was linking that article to suggest it will overwhelm us; I posted it to underline the reverse.

It is still something that should push back the schedule of reopening though.

A lot of the evidence is pointing towards that. Surfaces are also meant to have very little risk of transmission. Does make a lot of sense as outdoor transmission is almost zero.

Yes, that's true. However, if people are walking about congested areas outdoors - such as a high street when retail opens again - they should wear face masks.

These are the type of behavioural changes that have to come as second nature to us now.

Once we are all vaccinated face masks will be forgotten about. Probably around 4 or so months until that happens.
