The data will drive the Yank's decision. And that's what should have driven the UKs.

It was a massive gamble that *might* be paying off. However, we really dont know yet.

The more data that comes in - especially on AZ's performance against variants (and it's record on the SA variant initially at least looks poor) - the more we'll know if AZ's jab is truly a success. It'll help in the fight, that's for sure. But we really cant say at this stage if it's gold standard like Pfizer's.
