Just seen that Miami and Florida is essentially fully open. Oldest state in america by age I believe. Around 25th in COVID deaths. Barely any lockdowns with a lot of things open throughout.
Are they just purely fortunate with climate which has helped massively?
Looking at the UK obviously in the summer in 2020 the cases/deaths went extremely slow and I'd imagine Florida is pretty warm even in winter?
I find it interesting as you'd expect them to be a top 5 state in death rates.
There's evidence that the further north a country/state is, the more COVID has an impact due to Vitamin D.
So possibly that.
