TBF you weren't that far off - it might be banned but I've never heard of anyone getting a ticket for going on holiday (breaching quarantine when you get back is another matter, mind).

In all seriousness, who do you know that's been going on holiday in the last three months?

Apart from Captain Tom.

A blow to Liverpool One if true.

EuyCPYLXUAID7DM

Liverpool Ones anchor tenant not good at all.

Likely to hear more rancid garbage from Bullingdon later today regarding his road map , i think everybody has had enough of it all by now , peoples mental states has been seriously damaged by this utter disaster

Its not just missing out on a certificate though is it. And you know that as well as I do.

What do you tell the business owner who has lost the thing he's built for 20 years go under? What about the wife of the man who commits suicide because he's mentally unwell?

What do you tell the teenager who has been so isolated for so long that he's a recluse and the social skills you build up through high school are not prevalent?

There's no easy answer but lockdown isn't the be all and end all in living with covid.
I speak as someone who has shielded since March 15th 2020. Prior to that I spent a month in hospital.

Continual lockdown won't solve covid.
Very well said mate

I don't get how people can say 'its shorter than the second world war' as if thats a good thing.

The second world war is probably the worst event in human history and completely ruined the lives of everyone. Didn't we only recently pay back the war debt too?

As long as there is significant evidence that vaccination will stop deaths, it makes sense to allow some things to reopen.

Would say @mill is being deliberately hyperbolic to make a point, seems pretty obvious
