Had an email last night to say shielding is being extended until 31st March. No real surprise but probably shows nothing much will change in the next few weeks?

I do find it a bit mad though that my lad will probably be back in school in a couple of weeks and I cannot go back to work.

Care to link that? Because I don't think that's true. All the lancet said is they didn't have enough data at the moment. The lancet is only a journal not a regulatory board anyway

Any rumours on when we’ll hear about changes to restrictions etc.? Feels like the most silent lockdown we’ve had so far for information.

Surely that's the one positive in terms of the government learning lessons though? Just stop promising stuff.

But yeah, they said a few weeks ago that the 'roadmap' would be laid out week of Feb 22nd

Thats great news. It seems a great and really robust vaccine from anything ive seen. Isnt it interesting it doesn't have the same profile as AZ, Pfizer and Moderna.

TBF that is actually a good thing - our immune systems are actually rather frightening; they are more than capable of killing us if they react with excess severity.

Hasn't that been a problem with covid with some. Haven't some patients had severe problems with their immune systems over reacting to the virus? Or did I dream that?

I just think it'd be the worst thing now to send schools back. March 8th to the Easter break would be about 3 weeks. What's the point?
