TBF I wonder whether the lack of impact here is mainly down to the nature of what passes for our contact tracing - getting phoned up by a call centre is much less impressive than having people knock on your door and explain things to your face about whats happening, why and what they can do to help you.

I think it just isn't actually the answer - it's just part of the bigger one.

We're seeing it in Aus and NZ. They've quickly got any cases under control but, as far as I know - correct me if I'm wrong - they still don't know how the family in NZ all came down with it, because they've had no cases in months and the quarantine rules are extremely strict.

There's not ever going to be any way to truly find out the amount of asymptomatic people but I think it's safe to assume they're going to be acting as carriers throughout this and never have the foggiest, and even the best contract tracing probably would never find the initial source so far down the chain.

I should note, I mean this in relation to community transmissions. I guess in hospitals, care homes etc etc, it's a lot easier to pinpoint where the spread could come from.

An older article but worth revisiting as it could be a very useful tool in targeting outbreaks once we have the virus under control. [We have already trialed this just need to get the numbers down to maximise its value.]

Im probably one of those. I don't really have an issue with it. My asthma is well controlled.

The only gripe I have is that I'm shunted down the list but some fat [Poor language removed] who can't control his takeaway habits will still be vaccinated.

Generalizing over devolution when in law and governance they have different meanings between nations is the essence of condescending. And glad being British is fast becoming antiquated.

Ok mate. I don't personally care about being British or how anyone else feels about that. I didn't even mention devolution?
