Especially when it probably originated in the migration of thousands of labourers from far east to European powers to free up nationals for military service in WWI. As Spain was neutral, its media freely reported the onset while censorship in the countries that were fighting tried to keep a lid on it.

It was thus called Spanish flu as no one else was reporting it.

Fair. It's hardly the end of the world, just mildly irritating.

The tossers queuing at 6am then stripping the shops bare are doing my head in now. They should've started rationing essentials a week ago.

We (Ireland) had a marginal growth yesterday after introducing measures a week ago, though we still have the Chelthnam loons to come through the system and 20k holiday makers to return home today, so im sure we will see more growth.

Not sure if it's possible anymore, should have done it a month ago, might be possible in many countries but that ship has sailed for Italy/France/Spain/England and USA

Its been a positive, Arlene was waving the orange flag over the weekend, but i think its dawned on her now with the above, that this isnt an orange VS green issue.

Still though, a DUP breaking ranks with a conservative leader - doesn't happen very often, that said i think the UK are going to do a complete round turn on the herd thing and she might have wind of that and is playing politcs, i think the herd thing will and likely has proven massively the wrong call and was a bad waste of precious time and irresponsible in terms of public health. Lets see, but if that proves the case, you guys (in the UK) need to batter the Conservative administration.

People must be so confused in the UK now.

We've seen the damage that the second wave is already having in Wuhan. It is something that Italy, France and Spain will have to deal with, unless of course they want their people locked up for 18 months.

But if they have had so many cases, surely they are all close to herd immunity....!!!!....logic dictates the UK has to go through what Wuhan, Bergimo, wider Italy, France and Spain has gone through on a greater scale to develop herd immunity.

Wait till the hot weather arrives the beer will be in demand plus other cool drinks even bottled water is hard to get even now.......

He isn't provoking racism though. He is naming it from the origin of the virus, which isn't guess work it's the facts.

It's not provoking racism that already exists, which really isn't real racism on the surface. It's racism when people do something with that sure, but naming a virus after its literal creation isn't racism.
