er...

Behave.

Starmer would definitely have had UK in the EU Vaccine Scheme.

Back in the summer, Mr S could barely log onto social media without seeing warnings of the brazen foolishness of the UK government choosing not to be a part of the EU vaccine taskforce. Labour politicians, including Keir Starmer and the shadow health secretary Jonathan Ashworth, had made clear previously that had they been in charge, the UK would have remained part of the European Medicines Agency which has been slow to approve vaccines – but others in the party went further.

In 2017 Sir Keir himself delivered two speeches in the Commons in which he claimed it was “short-sighted” wanting to “be outside the European Medicines Agency, which ensures that all medicines in the EU market are safe and effective”, arguing it is the bit of the EU “we should be seeking to retain, not throw away”.

"behave"? the quote is 100% false

edit: and as for the rest:

But as FactCheck reported last month, the EMA and EU law already allow national regulators to temporarily authorise the supply of a vaccine in an emergency like the pandemic. That’s why the UK regulator was able to sign off the Pfizer jab in December, while we were still in the Brexit transition period and subject to EU law.

Sorry mate, I cant release the care list to a non EU jurisdiction without the appropriate authorisation! :D

What I like is that the EU pick a fight with AZ, but because they know they haven’t a leg to stand on they then instruct an American company, Pfizer, that it can’t send vaccine to the U.K. even though contractually and legally the vaccines belong to us. Then they expect to pull the old Allies & Friends bit later on when we have a surplus.....you couldn’t make it up... How to trash your reputation in three steps....

Labour, under that spineless clown, definitely would have joined - as per Shadow Minister For Europe and Shadow Minister For Health.

No, they wouldn't have. They wouldn't be under "that spineless clown" if they were in power.

Look, you can either have a debate where people report what was actually said or we can just invent quotes and then try to justify doing that because of policy they'd absolutely have done if they were in power (which would have meant two of the three people you mention there would not to occupy the roles you need them to occupy to do it, by the way).

To be honest mate the terms EU, UK, Pfizer and AZ are all interchangeable in that post.

I wonder will the EU regulations impact the supply chain that much or at all, what do you think?
