Getting pretty strict here

On Friday, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced that Canada’s main airlines have agreed to suspend service to all Caribbean destinations and Mexico starting this Sunday until April 30. Starting next week, all international passenger flights must land at only four airports: Calgary, Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal.

In addition, all Canadian travellers returning from overseas will have to take a COVID-19 test at the airport when they land and quarantine in a designated hotel for three days at their own expense while they await results.

The opposition have wound me up almost as much as the government throughout this.

A couple of weeks ago Starmer said that opening schools safely wasn't rocket science.

It's a shame as rocket science is pure physics and highly predicable. Epidemiology and infection control is actually far more complex. It also involves human behaviour which complicates things further.

There will be a lot of politicians, luvvies and left wing know it all’s keeping their heads down at the moment....even in here....

I love seeing Pete flutter his wings like a peacock.

If this was the WWF you would be Ric Flair strutting about the ring giving the chop to every luvvy attempting to strike you.

@Blues Harp attempts a german suplex but Pete sweeps the leg and applies the Figure Four Leg Lock lol

Music is music. It predates the corporate vampirism of it. In short: I could give a flying one about "the music industry" and their money making moguls. The music will get through and people will enjoy it. They could even make a living at it with the right platforms. They just for a few years yet wont be able to enjoy the communion side of it with their fans.

Adaptation.

Get used to it.

For the 60 day cut off, 1309 deaths were announced today, down 63 on yesterday and down 171 on last Saturday. The 7 day rolling average falls to 1276.43

That's a bit unfair, many underground/indie bands struggle to make a living in normal times and do it solely through t-shirts and concerts. Getting money through streaming when spotify pays you about £0.01 a listen isn't viable for them. That said the sooner major record labels and unfair streaming services die the better....
