It’s a funny thing though isn’t it. I remember taking my wife and friends for a meal two days before going in for a heart triple bypass operation. It was like the last supper, but with me not knowing how it would turn out....you have to laugh and just get on with life......

Spot on Pete. I actually got sent home on one of the evenings before I ended up going back in and having to stay in. That evening I sat there with my two kids and just had them either side of me and hugging them and i was grateful for that moment. I knew I wasn't right, I knew I would end up back in hospital but I felt like I was lucky that I got home to give my kids the biggest hug I'll ever give them. I really was unsure if I'd get that opportunity again so I appreciated it.

I‘d say that it’s only those who have experienced knowing they will be put under with no guarantee of waking up that can really understand the feeling. But I expect someone on here has read a book about it and knows better......

I have elderly relatives much older than you who have taken the AZ vaccine and I have another about to take it. I'm concerned about this. I know that immune response dwindles well into old age, and this info from Germany has me on edge.

Rather my mum having the vaccine I had back in December, than this AZ vaccine, as Tory like to purport "Game Changer".
