3.5 million had a first dose now, over 300,000 again yesterday. It’ll be interesting to see the numbers over the weekend......

Posted in the Todays Footie thread that they have done circa 4500 last week, (first week opened) at Ashton Gate, and they expect to double that next week.

Will be the same picture across the country, supplies notwithstanding.

It reminds me of the stuff the celebs do in Get me out of Here. Like, 2 of them have to fill a bin with water, using tea spoons. It starts slow, they get the hang of it, and it all goes well.

This will also presumably have some impact, know that here in the US a not insignificant portion of those offered the vaccine in the first round (medical staff/firefighters) refused which will have slowed down the rate as need to seek those who were willing.

What on earth is wrong with people. This virus could kill you, this vaccine will save you, now have a good think about it........

Hospital figures - 913 deaths were announced today, down 28 on yesterday and up 113 on last Saturday. 771 deaths were in English hospitals, down 36 on yesterday and up 146 on last week. The 7 day rolling average rises to 857.86

All settings - for the 28 day cut off, 1295 deaths were announced today, up 15 on yesterday and up 260 on last Saturday. The 7 day rolling average rises to 1103.14

For the 60 day cut off, 1388 deaths were announced today, down 19 on yesterday and up 256 on last Saturday. The 7 day rolling average rises to 1190.86

Looks like the AZ jab is going to pull the ROI out of the crap tbh......

Be defo welcome mate, like the UK will allow us to do more quickly, we only have Pfizer and Moderna passed at the mo, but decent allocation of both (over the long term). I kept a close eye the Oxford team as an Irish guy was the team lead,. The EU are hopefully going to give it the thumbs up on the 29th.

I’m expecting good news on the J&J by the end of the month, if I was a betting man, I think that one might be the game changer in roll out (depending on their results).
