No mate it's only selfish people in the UK who are doing that.
At least it's some form of drop. A drop in the ocean, may be, but a start.
Hopefully in 2 weeks' time we start to see a sustained drop off. Then again, we're testing a hell of a lot.
We know from last year -
Cases start to drop, and about 2 weeks after, deaths start to drop.
Of course we now have other factors. The weather, the fact that the NHS is stretched even more because it's the middle of winter. The fact that we're testing larger numbers and therefore obviously going to get more positives.
However, on our side, is that the vaccine roll out is happening and quickly. It needs to be quicker, the pace needs to be upped and kept up, but at least that's happening.

Not exactly right, seeing as Scotland, Wales, Germany etc can now longer be held up as bastions of how to do things right, the countries of the Far East are now the “ NEW “ example that every country should aspire too.

Imagine where we'd be now if that 'kin murderer Johnson had listened to scientific advise instead of ignoring it for the second fateful time since this virus broke out?
A lockdown even as late as the beginning of December would have saved thousands of lives and the vaccine roll out would have been in an orderly manner and as recommended by their manufacturers instead of the BS plan being enacted that potentially leads to its efficacy dropping to low levels prior to a booster (whenever people get that).
