The reason their numbers are low, is that they`ve learnt the hard way, from bitter past experiences of dealing with your mates in the CCP.

They treat everything they say as a lie and always expect the worse case scenario when it involves the Great Bunch of Lads.

So when the CCP initially tried to hide it and declared that there`s nothing to see here, the countries that surround them did the exact opposite and locked everything down and treated it as a pandemic from day one.
lol lol lol

The conspiracy to make the UK Banana Republic look like a catastrophic failure knows no bounds.

"Itz der red chineez lad, deev made Boris look terrible".

My 24 year old son was watching news last night (thats a first) they were interviewing some old guy who said he couldn't wait to get out now he's had the vaccine, lad said his he taking the p%ss if he thinks he can go out and us young one's can't.I told him they are on about opening pubs for the over 60s ,because they'll have had the vaccine and they'll be safe i thought he was going to have an heart attack.

Surprised Estate Agents & house viewings still allowed to carry on as usual. Seems daft that you can have a handful of different people visiting one house one after another day after day.

This is probably going to sound really bad but I have seen the articles about NHS workers getting PTSD from the covid deaths. Deaths in 2020 were up by 15%, is it more that COVID deaths are particularly bad to watch or is it the volume of deaths? Its probably quite horrible to see people dying without their family around them.

I was just thinking that if you work in an ICU you must get quite used to death occuring but having to see people die alone must be one of the main causes of these issues?

In my experience, its the suffering and trauma toward end of life as a health care professional, its a very traumatic experience to be charged with saving someone's life or at least ease their passing and have exhausted every known treatment and they still suffer toward end of life.

I mean technically my auntie isn't my nan's carer. My nan does get a carer's allowance which goes to my mum and auntie to buy food etc, but they aren't trained or anything.

If it's offered to you it'll be because somebody else hasn't taken it, so do not decline it. It's better in your arm than it going to waste!
Just asked the wife what they're doing at her surgery she said if they can they'll also give an appointment at the same time for the carer whether they're official or not if the patient asks .They just use their common sense and they usually know who's looking after them anyway.

Holding back on giving the second part of the vaccine is fair enough as long as it's within 3 months of the first I'm led to believe. Just can see them cocking that one right up, don't know why I think that tho o_O

Is it possible that the elevated death numbers are due to this being the worst few weeks for deaths generally?

i.e There were 14,058 deaths w/e 10th Jan 2020 compared to 7,739 w/e 4th Sep 2020
