Keep your chin up mate had the same problem in the first lockdown.

Cheers man.

Im ok with it, but she struggles.

Annoying thing is she moved in at new year to start her new job, but got furloughed three days later.

As I’m at home to look after my mum, and have to WFH we made the decision to be apart again.

Gives us more time and money to get our own place though so there’s always pro’s and cons to it.

In years to come, future generations will praise the bravery and weep at the sacrifice we made in these troubling times.

I hope they wear a poppy for us.

Thank you for the sacrifice. We can put their deaths to good use, they did not die just foreign types to come and steal jobs and homes...

What’s written on the papers? Pegging? Rusty trombone?

They key thing here is he lives with his partner. Don’t want to speak for him but I’m guessing when he mentioned going out; it was a way to get away from the kids, dress up nice and have some time just together. When your home has essentially become your prison and you’re stuck with your cell mate you can’t exactly have a great time there can you.

If I could leave the missus at home I would lad lol I just miss going out in general tbh not saw any of the lads in a good while then you have not being able to get down to GP the one year we are actually doing alright on the pitch!

When you're married and trying to entertain a bored 5 year old whilst juggling work and a loss in income it becomes tedious like. We normally dump the little sod on my folks when we fancy a night on the town but cant really even do that anymore incase he has it and passes it on to them lol

Winter sets you up for the Spring, as it’s mainly base fitness just to keep you going until the weather warms up again.
yeah it's not been a massive drop off but, for example, I've lost 10-15 seconds on my running time (so from avg about 4:20-25 per-KM in July to about 4:35-4:45 now and then my cycling outdoors my watts have dropped slightly.

Would avg about 175-185w over rides in July/August, down at about 150-160 now. Not awful but a bit of a drop off. Still got the base level, though.

Got to think of the positives mate - assuming you dont live together at least it gives you something interesting somewhat to talk about.

A lot of my mates who live with their missus tend to bicker with their other half but im the opposite we never really argue or bother one another its more what do you actually talk about - I know how her days been as she works from home next to me and she knows how my days been as im hardly working and sat next to her watching TV. lol

Apart from doing chores and mopping up after the lad its very boring.
