I am not a cyclist, but isn't being 7 miles from home fairly normal? I've heard of people I know who go on like 50km rides.

They key thing here is he lives with his partner. Don’t want to speak for him but I’m guessing when he mentioned going out; it was a way to get away from the kids, dress up nice and have some time just together. When your home has essentially become your prison and you’re stuck with your cell mate you can’t exactly have a great time there can you.
yeah it's not been a massive drop off but, for example, I've lost 10-15 seconds on my running time (so from avg about 4:20-25 per-KM in July to about 4:35-4:45 now and then my cycling outdoors my watts have dropped slightly.Winter sets you up for the Spring, as it’s mainly base fitness just to keep you going until the weather warms up again.

Our local neighbourhood network full of mainly bimbo women, giving it loads about people not social distancing in supermarkets and so on. Next breath saying they're travelling way out of their areas to attend their favoured shops.
