It will be a pin badge in the shape of a mask.In years to come, future generations will praise the bravery and weep at the sacrifice we made in these troubling times.
I hope they wear a poppy for us.
I'm creative with how long it takes me to get to the corner shop, which is literally about a two minute walk away. I've nailed it to twenty minutes at the moment.Well then you still must be creative. If you think living with your partner and kids for a couple of months is "prison with a cell mate" then your relationship sounds pretty crap.

It's really pretty irrelevant how far someone goes out walking, running, or cycling, as long as they stay away from others.
I go quite far from home on my run if I'm feeling in the mood but I'm by myself so I don't see the problem.
Yeah I mean I clock up some serious miles.
Also there's no actual rule on staying anywhere within your local area to a specific distance. You could walk seven miles away.
The guidance is to stop people driving to other locations and then doing their exercise. 7 miles on a bike can be done in 20-25 mins, if you're on the flat stuff.
Also, you can easily do a 50km ride by staying within a 10km radius of your own at all times pretty much too.

March lockdown I was training for a marathon - 50 miles plus every week and a 4hr long run at the weekend.
Just started training for an ultra marathon in the Summer - 30 40 miles plus every week and 2hrs plus long run and increasing incrementally at the weekend.
Who’s gonna tell me to stop ?
My mate in the Lakes is going out for four hours plus on his bike every day ( weather permitting) Sometimes ending up 40/50 miles up in the hills from where he lives.
Who’s gonna tell him to stop ?
) and gutted, as it's lovely here (albeit cold). Would have been able to get out for an hour or so in the sun. Next week or so is meant to be crap weather, but keeping up with my running.
aye it's nonsense, mate
you're also a massive weirdo putting yourself through that pain x
I am really looking forward to the spring and being able to get out on my bike fully again. In work today (my emails aren't working - hence on here right now) and gutted, as it's lovely here (albeit cold). Would have been able to get out for an hour or so in the sun. Definitely lost fitness in the last few months so just looking forward to getting back onto it fully. Missing the gym and swimming, but it's been 10 months now.
Of course it's testing but we've been able to go out and eat at restaurants (with or without kids) for months now. The next couple of months will be more challenging so I was just offering advice to try be more creative with indoor "date nights".
Not sure why you're all jumping on me for offering some positive advice but this is the COVID knives out thread after all.
There are a few silver linings to the pandemic and reduce green house emissions is certainly one of them.

Covid-19 Took a Bite From U.S. Greenhouse Gas Emissions in 2020
Emissions plunged more than 10 percent. If the trend can be sustained, it would put the United States within striking distance of one of its major goals under the Paris climate agreement.nyti.ms
They'll be too busy working to prop up the tanked uk economy on minimum wage in Chinese owned uk government sweatshops - to have time to reflect on such trivial things. In years to come, future generations will praise the bravery and weep at the sacrifice we made in these troubling times.
