No the idea of taking her keys was that if she left she could not get back in
She is too security conscious to leave a door or side gate open
Back door key is still in the door so she can go into the garden
Plus with 5 of us ringing every day plus grandkids ringing she would be caught out if she left

you get less for murder:( ...

Need advice

My husband in the vulnerable high risk group but young 40s.

I have the chance of 12 weeks off so I don't have issues with wages like others do.

Should I take this or would this be an over reaction as it's more deadly for those much older.
Hard to know without knowing your husbands comorbidities. If you generally wouldnt worry about him getting the flu, then you should be ok. Still 12 weeks would cover the likely high risk period as we're just at the start of a very steep upward curve in infection.

Deffo mate. There is an old dear round the corner from me and when I'm mowing my lawn I always pop round and do hers for her. I've been going round of late just too make sure she's okay and I've been the shops a few times for her now to pick up bits and bobs and she's got my number in case she needs anything. Now I don't expect a medal for helping her out, but I like to think that if we all did our bit we can make things a little bit less stressful for our elderly who seem to be the most vulnerable at this time.
Need a 'Love' response like facebook.

Got a contact in the Army. Who says they've been asked to plan for troop deployments to main supermarkets as crowd control to stop potential food riots. The Govt is now extremely worried. My guess is that they're expecting major supply chain problems in the coming weeks.

Could just be part of standard civil unrest contingency planning - no need to panic lads!

*grabs coat and heads for the Aldi!

I don't expect our schools to open until late August. Leaving Cert probably be delayed until then or later and Junior Cert cancelled. They'll do what they can online and maybe in very small groups until then.

iIt would be a ridiculous thing to do and would open a whole new host of issues for working parents. In a lot of cases people would have to quit jobs to look after their kids.

This is almost inevitable. Theres not even any decent tea bags on supermarket shelves now. Theres gonna be trouble and its gonna be soon. Putting people on lockdown is in my opinion a method of preventing unrest. This is a complete nonsense.
