If your desperate for your kid. PM me.Nappies etc. are being raided in supermarkets where I live. Can't find Calpol for love nor money.
I just don't get the mentality of hoarding. If everyone just carried on getting their normal weekly shop then there would be plenty for everyone as there was before the virus hit.
My mate works for Openreach (on infrastructure, not home connections). He's been telling me they've all been diverted to support Doctors clinics and hospital connections which are under massive strain atm as a prority.Been without internet for a week now, and they're their usual incompetent self in fixing it. The most frustrating thing is the complete lack of accountability, as BT are the only point of contact you have, and they're all very sorry etc. but can literally do nothing about Openreach, who you have no contact with. It's an awful setup. Utterly awful.

It is simple - these people are selfish self- centred individualists who reject any notion of community solidarity.
The type that would trample a small amount child into the ground to get to a lifeboat .
Thankfully therd are still many very decent people about too.
Has anyone tried eating European bats to see if it counteracts the virus?
Worth a shot now everything else has failed surely.

Not defending the company, just passing on what he's told me previously. I imagine most home services/utilities may take a bit of a hit in the coming weeks![]()
Deffo mate. There is an old dear round the corner from me and when I'm mowing my lawn I always pop round and do hers for her. I've been going round of late just too make sure she's okay and I've been the shops a few times for her now to pick up bits and bobs and she's got my number in case she needs anything. Now I don't expect a medal for helping her out, but I like to think that if we all did our bit we can make things a little bit less stressful for our elderly who seem to be the most vulnerable at this time.
I’d take it, even without the high risk hubby you are doing the community “shelter at home” approach that will hopefully reduce/slow the spread to those that can’t stay home and ease the strain on healthcare systems.Need advice
My husband in the vulnerable high risk group but young 40s.
I have the chance of 12 weeks off so I don't have issues with wages like others do.
Should I take this or would this be an over reaction as it's more deadly for those much older.
Oh crap, that bad?only Ricky Gervais entertains me these days..
He's a bad tool, like.a bit harsh mate..
