I really don't see the issue, have you actually read the article.

Lets say you lived on the coast, a massive tsunami is on its way would you not warn the people as its " Negative news "

but people wont be more or less careful no matter the coverage atm. Media has done its bits. Time to cover more cheerful stuff. If you shout your kid 'be careful about x' 1000 times they will not bother anymore.

Just received a security note from work. It looks like the anti lockdown and pro Brexit boys and gals plan on doing their thing in London on New Year’s eve to make sure numbers keep rising.

TBF large swathes of the media have actively undermined the response to this, even the Governments response. There’s even an article on the Mails website today saying normal antibiotics might drive you mental.

The WHO article was talking about the success of public and private companies working together and how they need to be prepared for future pandemics.

Thats like blaming the canary in it’s cage because the miners ignored its call. SAGE gave it’s advice, it was ignored until it looked like it would prove to be correct and then harsher measures had to be brought in.
