So manager had vaccine, was told there is no guarantee the second dose can be given as there are known shortages... My conclusion they are over vaccinating because they believe modelling has informed them second dose take up will be lower.:confused:
 
What you say makes sense. Id go for after boxing day. But how many lockdowns should there be

Unfortunately as many is it takes for it to sink in how careful people need to be. If that happened we wouldn't have the number of cases now that is either going to take off or keep people in a Tier 4 situation for much longer period of time than a sharp nationwide lockdown. (Just like what happened in Liverpool)

This is getting daft from you now. If you saw the briefing the other day, it wasnt until Friday that the Bio folk had worked out why the infections rose, and more importantly, how, exactly, the virus had changed.

Not sure giving the WHO a call saying "we have a spike" a week ago without knowing why/how, cos the first question would be "How?".
