Usually I wouldn't agree but I think we've got to this stage now. Christmas is basically just with your own household, kids are at home, most people have holidays, haulers can't get out of the country, practically every country has pulled up the drawbridge to stop us travelling abroad. Shut everything for 2 and a half weeks and see what things look like after that.
The longer we wait the more pain we'll take on the other side when we will be forced to lockdown and the more people will have needlessly died. So let's get it over with while it will cause least disruption.
