As much chance that it originated somewhere else.
We are pretty good as a medical community at identifying this sort of stuff and pretty honest about sharing the information.
I can see the situation being that it originated elsewhere and they didn't know or didn’t want to admit to it.

Asymptomatic seems to have jumped up 30% from around 20% and is spreading more with school children age than anyone else.

A professor of genetics from Leicester i think it was said the data he has seen suggests its following the usual course of a virus

TBF the global reaction to this suggests that we’ve possibly not shared this latest update with the rest of the world before this weekend. If that’s true then we might well be in for some extra hurt right when we need not to do this.
