Their doctor's receptionist rang them to say that they could have their vaccination at St. Catherine's hospital (Wirral). Very well organised, in and out in 40 minutes.
Thanks. The elderly relative's useless 'kin GP receptionists have stated that they have nothing to do with notifying patients and it comes via a Department of Health letter.

As predicted:

Made up for you mate.

I'm sure it exists. I'm sure there is a new strain. But I highly doubt that there is actually any meaningful difference to it than the other strain.

There's loads of strains of this thing anyway. It's just been used as a tool for fear, by all of the politicians on both sides of the divide.

Lost any respect for any of them when not one questioned why London and the south east was not put into Tier 3 at the start of December.
I lost any respect somewhere between February & March with this lot.

Its just another page in a catalogue of blunders .

Pack it in, you’re really not doing yourself any favours.

89 year old, estate-dwelling billionaire Rupert Murdoch has had it, my 97 year old care home dwelling nan hasn’t and probably won’t until after the New Year.

One of those two people served her country in the last war, raised four sons and worked for decades as a dinner-lady. I’ll let you guess which.

People were adamant jobs, business’s, and industries needed to be protected.

Good to see cases on the rise and more deaths though so you can quote yourself on the internet.
Tbf Dave has been talking about this for a while and taken a lot of flack for it.
And let’s see what happens to jobs and the economy now that things have been allowed to get to this point.

I think they all do it slightly differently. For the flu jab I normally get a text message. The GP will have a list and one way or another will get in touch....

Yet my mother inlaw, who really is an 81 yr old pensioner, with a myriad of health problems and a nurse I know, who’s in her 40’s with a dodgy immune system have both had it.

Maybe it’s just down to variances within the system of which “vulnerable “ people get it first ?

My father inlaw, who’s 83 and healthy has heard nothing yet, so it looks to me like they’re working their way through those who are ultra high risk first.
