Tbf Dave has been talking about this for a while and taken a lot of flack for it.
And let’s see what happens to jobs and the economy now that things have been allowed to get to this point.

Unfortunately for Dave all he cares about is his opinion on the internet.

He’s made up to see cases on the rise and another lockdown on the way so he can scream from the rooftops “SHUT THEM DOWN”

He’s been saying the same thing since the first lockdown, which is a shame as most of us had already started taking precautions before then, whilst he was in here telling everyone how the virus was fake and all propaganda.

Not really a surprise that its rising, the numbers are still fairly low which is good.

We'll probably all be under a national lockdown pretty soon, they'll end up abandoning the tier system again.

Yet my mother inlaw, who really is an 81 yr old pensioner, with a myriad of health problems and a nurse I know, who’s in her 40’s with a dodgy immune system have both had it.

Maybe it’s just down to variances within the system of which “vulnerable “ people get it first ?

My father inlaw, who’s 83 and healthy has heard nothing yet, so it looks to me like they’re working their way through those who are ultra high risk first.

Murdoch isn’t ultra high risk though; my Nan is. I’m glad your relative / friend have got it but if they are work through a list it’s really hard to see what criteria they are using.

The clinic my wife works in are one of the local hubs for vaccinations, and it sounds like they're going out to the elderly asking them if they want it, but while many do, others don't. It seems likely that the wife will have it soon for no other reason than they haven't been able to round up enough Joeys and it'd go off otherwise.

I should add, the woman doing the allocating was found recently with a gold-plated stethoscope and won't be seen without a copy of the Sunday Times stuffed into her breaches. Read into that what you will.

I don't think they're particularly prioritising people with the vaccine. It just depends on availability in your area. My grandad who is about 82 got it the other day, my nan isn't eligible yet as shes under 80. He is in much better shape than her so the other way round would have been better for them.

89 year old, estate-dwelling billionaire Rupert Murdoch has had it, my 97 year old care home dwelling nan hasn’t and probably won’t until after the New Year.

One of those two people served her country in the last war, raised four sons and worked for decades as a dinner-lady. I’ll let you guess which.
