I wasn't slating you on your politics. I was trying to explain your erratic and contradictory postings earlier, and in fairness I did say that I might be wrong because I knew I was making an assumption at the time.

But the facts are

1) The covid policy in Wales is driven by Labour.
2) The covid policy in England is driven by the Tories
3) Wales came out of circuit break into very relaxed rules. And yes I have read the above link.
4) The infection rates have now risen so much In Wales that new lockdown is happening
5) You blame the new lockdown on the English crossing the border into Wales and the fact that England didn't have a circuit break at the same time as Wales did.
6) There is absolutely no evidence to say that English encroachment on Wales resulted in the Welsh increase in infections. In fact, the English/Welsh borders are some of the lowest infected areas. All the evidence points to the lowering in restrictions increasing the infection rate.
7) You say the first circuit break had a huge effect on the infection rate in Wales. Good enough to see it through until at least the New Year before another. You also said that had England had a circuit break at he same time, which by pure coincidence just happens to be what a certain Sir Kier Starmer was advocating, then England would also be in the same position. This based presumably on the back of advice from a scientific think tank that has consistently and continually called things wrong throughout this pandemic. Sorry but that is absolute nonsense. The infection rates in Wales did come down but not dramatically so, and I will wager that figures will show infection rates will come down even further in the English lockdown. And there is absolutely no evidence to support your claims we wouldn't have seen another lockdown before the new year.

So to summarise, you are saying that the Labour run Wales circuit break was successful, and had we followed Labours calls for a similar circuit break in England that would have been successful too. You are also saying that Tories decision to have regional tier restrictions in England was not only unsuccessful, but also caused the Wales successful lockdown to subsequently fail. Well, I'll give you 1 out of 4 for correctness there, another 1 is partially correct, and the final 2 utter and total wham. Which leads me to believe that your judgement has been affected by your political alliance. But you can call me deluded if you wish ;)

ah yes, "facts"

i) yes it is
ii) yes it is
iii) they didn't come out into "very relaxed rules", as the link shows
iv) the infection rates have risen but a new lockdown isn't happening (yet), its a tightening of the restrictions that has been announced
v) i didn't blame the new lockdown (which isnt happening) on the English crossing the border
vi) the border counties in Wales have (relatively) higher infection rates, so where you've got that idea they don't is a mystery unsupported by reality
vii) the "scientific think tank" is the governments science advisors, not a think tank. They advised the government to do a circuit breaker lockdown in Wales, which lowered case numbers. They also advised the government in England to do it, which was ignored, which resulted in increased case numbers up until the government panicked and brought in a longer lockdown. Had the PM listened to his own advisors we would not have had what we've had and things probably would have ended up with a better outcome.

so to summarize, what I am saying is that you are talking wham again

I can’t believe you are still trying to blame the English for your own actions.....

But wait, there's more :

I’m really not sure whether fingering women can give you covid, I’ll need to consult an expert

I can assure you that you won’t get Covid from fingering a ladies front bottom.

I’d still recommend a good wash of of your mitts afterwards though, unless you want a dose of scampi fry fingers!

Back bottom is a Covid risk so proceed with extreme caution!

Great news. It will soon be time for rules that over 65s cannot go into pubs, restaurants, cinemas or shops without evidence of vaccination.

If you are 65+ and you don't get vaccinated (not including autoimmune disease etc) you are worse than the anti lockdown protestors.
