You say that but if sage got their way we would be all sat round eating Christmas dinner in the park
By "got their way" are you trying to say "promote the safest option".

What sort of response is that? Will you and your family be sat round a table in the middle of the park eating dinner on Christmas day?
We're a support bubble so I'll be sat with the two of them at the table.
3 families eating it outside is safer than eating it inside. You say it as if SAGE would be trying to ruin your Christmas if they did suggest it.
So let me ask you this.
Do you think it's wise for elderly people to be sat outside in the middle of winter for a prolonged period of time?
Answer the question mate, don't change the subjectI'd ask you how vital is eating a fancy Sunday roast this year?
Answer the question mate, don't change the subject
Oh right.1. Elderly family meeting up with other untested family indoors to eat.
2. Elderly family meeting up with other untested family ourdoors to eat.
3. Elderly family not risking health meeting up with other untested family to eat a roast dinner.
Safest and most logical options? 3 > 2 > 1
Unless you think COVID is thwarted by pigs in blankets.

Oh right.
So it's fine for you to have Christmas in your 'support bubble' but others who aren't in one should be following this sage advice and sitting in the middle of the park in winter?
And based on the above, you think elderly should not be celebrating Christmas with their family (that the government has said is ok for them to do) and should continue to be isolated from the world?
That the jist of it?
Oh right.

You sound like an entitled prick, no offence. It's fine for you but not for others.
But if the government says it's fine for elderly to spend Christmas with their family then what's the issue? You can follow whatever rules you want (and will) but I would hope the elderly and vulnerable would be making the safest decision for them. My grandparents aren't going to my uncles like they normally would do for example.
Just because the gov said we can do doesn't mean we automatically should.
Gov also say scotch eggs are substantial meals and driving to Barnard Castle to test you eyesight is fine.
What's anonomly saying today?Found anymore stories in the media to be angry and wrong about today?

They haven't seen their family since march because the government says so. Why can't they see them when the government says it is ok?
Maybe , the idea you are running with is so ridiculous that the sage people wouldn't do it themselves and you are yet again just arguing for the sake of it again. Given that you won't be doing it yourself?
You took issue?I don't have an issue with them doing it if they want to?
I just took issue with you talking like SAGE are trying to ruin our Christmas if they were against these new bonkers lax Christmas rules.
