It’s all gone a bit quiet on the vaccination front.

A couple of weeks ago it seemed fairly certain the vaccination programme would start rolling out at the beginning of December.

I don’t really think so. If it was arguments for keeping the cities open, with their high Covid rates, then that might be fair comment. I think this rebellion will be on behalf of those little places, who took the pandemic seriously, have almost no cases, yet are having their lives turned upside down.....
Cities took the pandemic seriously, unfortunately we lack the acreage per person to keep this at bay.

Absolute disgrace:

Old people now being told they;'ll have to wait for the AstraZenica vaccine that's not as reliant as Pfizer and NHS workers only getting the Pfizer vaccine.

I suggest you read the detail mate.

If the Pfizer one was shifted to GPs and care homes, by the time it got there, it wouldnt work.

I've read it. They KNEW that and let people think otherwise...so I suggest you read the comments of the care sector who accusing this lot of betrayal.

When a reliable vax is available, the priority will be the vulnerable.

This one isnt able to be moved, nor stored, outside the NHS. So use it or lose it. Not sure why you are against NHS staff getting it.

Sorry, it's like you;re completely forgetting the umpteen times the government told us in the last fortnight how care homes and care home workers will be getting this jab before Christmas.
