None of any of that affects me at all.

But other than the random date plucked for the mini lock down to end being next week, is it safe to assume there is some data and science saying its safe enough now? Like R numbers, hospital stuff, and them annoying deaths?

I just briefly heard it on the radio, no mention of numbers or how long it would last either.

Fine.

I didn't know that blood clots are potential side effect of covid as I have not seen it mentioned at all these past 8 months.

So if that makes me look like a nobhead then so be it for my lack of awareness on that.

For record I sent the family money on the fundraiser anyway so something good came from this anywau.
This is an article from May if you’re interested, and Kawasaki disease was mentioned in children with Covid, that’s a vascular disease

Looks like Christmas isn’t coming early for @davek as all the COVID incubators are being opened up again.

Hairdressers and beauty salons to re open, so that’s the back, crack and sack sorted

The devils dwelling houses, that are pubs and restaurants to re open in Tiers one and two, albeit with restrictions and to remain shut in tier 3 other than for takeaways.

Gyms to re open too, so that’s the sted heads sorted.
So what level will merseyside fall into?

Im a sted head back sack and crack waxing restaurateur who loves a few pints down the local, couldn’t be happier tbh

Had some good news today concerning my brother who has been having treatment for leukemia. His chemotherapy treatment was interrupted in the spring due to covid, but he eventually finished this in May and has been in remission since.

However he was advised that there was a very good chance it would return within 2 years and his consultant recommended he undergo a stem cell (bone marrow) transplant. Turns out I'm a 100% match and I've been going through tests down here to make sure I'm healthy enough to go through my part of the process, which has all been signed off now.

There's been a delay due to covid levels in Liverpool and they have had to decide whether to go ahead with the procedure now or wait until the spring. Whilst there's a new cancer unit in Liverpool, the issue is that his immune system is completely wiped out prior to the transplant, so if he catches an infection and needs to go into intensive care, he would have to move back into the Royal.

Just found out that they have decided to go ahead with the transplant next month and I'll be doing my bit next week. There's an 80% success rate when the stem cell donor is family so fingers crossed.
