Lets face it rules carry on like this and people will be hoping its their last christmas. This is no life, just about existing.
What's better: death or existence?

Obviously not hoping it's my last Christmas but totally agree, feel very suffocated at the moment.Lets face it rules carry on like this and people will be hoping its their last christmas. This is no life, just about existing.
I’m saying go and see your parents grandparents let them see there grandkids, some people won’t because of the virus. Next year that option might not be there. What difference is that to any other year though?

There’s also another thousand ways why someone might not be here next year! Not just oneThat option might not be there next year because you've gone to see them this year.
Non essential travel? What travel isn't essential? Do you think people are getting on buses in a pandemic to go touring their towns and cities for something to do?Yeah, cos thats all that is happening.
Non essential travel, WFH, no visiting, face masks, restrictions on numbers in shops/what you can buy, social distancing, no theatres/gigs/shows/cinemas, no fans at any sporting events.
Dead normal.

People have been working from home throughout the pandemic period. What's changed there?
Face masks? They've been mandatory in shops for months. How is that new in this last month since "the lockdown"?
Restrictions on numbers in shops ^^^ ditto
Restrictions on what you can buy - much of retail is open (and I already said some of retail was shut)
No theatres, gigs, cinemas etc - who on earth has been doing that stuff en mass (or at all - gigs?!) before this "lockdown" never mind during it?
Cinemas were open, theatres were open, some gigs were trialled.
Very very limited.
I see no storm of protest about those places and activities being restricted.
This is not a lockdown in any way comparable to the lockdown we had in March/April - and even that wasn't as stringent as some of the lockdowns on the continent.
And it won't just be the DHs, there will be a % of 'normal sensible people' who, for various reasons, will just see their arses and say sod it.Yeh unfortunately within a pandemic the minority actually massively impacts the majority for once.
There's much more access, and much more going on.It isnt that much different. It just feels more normal.
We didnt have to wear masks in the first one, for example.
Probably they were in short supply and weren't they diverted to hospitals...I think they made a virtue out of necessity. It isnt that much different. It just feels more normal.

People who simply refuse the vaccine put the other group at more risk is the point I was trying to make.Yes but if you have no immune system then chances are you are very sick or have another condition that potentially can kill you.
It's not quite the same as someone just refusing the vaccine lol
