I predict the pubs will open in March.

On another point if they're talking about a few days break for Christmas why haven't they admitted this lockdown is getting extended. People need to know that we are now in lockdown until March/April. They need to be transparent and let the public know that this is going to be similar in length to the first lockdown.

Not sure they will want 2 seperate periods,. Can see this 5 day thing from Christmas eve to the 28th being true. Think the Monday is the bank holiday cause Boxing day is a Saturday, so lots will be off that 5 day stretch.

Hospital figures - 369 deaths were announced today, down 15 on yesterday and down 87 on last Wednesday. 282 deaths were in English hospitals, down 48 on yesterday and down 79 on last week with 278 occurring in the past 10 days. The 7 day rolling average falls to 328.14

All settings - for the 28 day cut off, 529 deaths were announced today, down 69 on yesterday and down 66 on last Wednesday. The 7 day rolling average falls to 415.57
