"Koff lad, weer marchin' fer freedum. Dee ale owses are shut an' I cant get me back sack an' crack waxed for love nor monee, an' me birds in bitz beekoz her collagen sessions are cancelled lad. Cast yer shackuls off lad an' join uz coz weer not gonna take dis represhun any longer lad"These protests are really doing my head in. I can't work for the next 3 weeks or see my 2 nephews and other niece (that's been the case for going on 2 months) because of lockdown measures yet these jackoffs think it's big and cool to protest around town as they don't believe the virus is legit and think lockdowns are totalitarianism nonsense. Why won't these idiots wake up and stop drinking the kool aid and get in the damn real world?
Not my idea of protest, much prefer the armchair since losing the debate about uncle Xi several years ago, he is a nice guy and regime, apparently! My girlfriend has a friend that’s a very intelligent girl, she’s a councillor but I won’t say where as ridiculous as her ideas are I think it’s right people find out her views naturally rather than me posting them on an Internet forum on her behalf. She believes the virus is a hoax, thinks masks don’t work even though for centuries Dr’s have worn them in surgery to stop the spread of germs before we even understood germ theory and is posting anti lockdown crap. She shared a picture of a letter from a school in the Liverpool region on her Instagram stating how kids were going to be tested in school with opt out options. Her entire post was about how it’s a breach of people’s humans rights to force them to go through an invasive procedure.
I think this entire pandemic just highlights how even intelligent people can be caught up in a hysteria, they know enough about some things it’s easier for them to convince themselves of something based off fragments of things they think they understand. Even when basic common sense is staring them in the face.
I’m not proclaiming to be a virologist and it may be the case there are alternative ways to deal with a pandemic but that doesn’t mean they’re plausible in the world we live in. I think this wave of people taking to the streets is 2020’s Brexit, it’s anti government and it doesn’t help that Corbyn’s idiot brother is coming up here and stoking them up. There was a QAnon banner at one of his rallies here in Liverpool, maybe it was right wing idiots, maybe it was people who identify as left wing but don’t really understand who QAnon are and just buy into their anti left crap. Either way I’m disgusted somebody even carried that banner here in this city. Nobody likes being locked down but if it’s that or allow the vulnerable in society to bare the brunt of our selfishness and put a burden on the NHS even I find it hard to understand how they justify their actions

However, from delayed lockdowns, lack of PPE and profiteering, poor track and trace, dithering with furlough and many mishaps with virus app. Its an easy stoke up as can be...
All feeds into hoax.I don’t think those things rationalise disbelief in the evidence though. Anti government feeling definitely but claims it’s all a hoax is a stretch. People will always profiteer, people made money of the 2nd world war, it doesn’t mean it didn’t happen
It's not left wing to protest the lockdown. Tell me any high profile left wing figure who have protested against the lockdown. And please dont say Piers Corbyn, because he is just a known crank. My girlfriend has a friend that’s a very intelligent girl, she’s a councillor but I won’t say where as ridiculous as her ideas are I think it’s right people find out her views naturally rather than me posting them on an Internet forum on her behalf. Here is a riddle.
How can someone late 50s, severe asthmatic , heavy smoker with difficulty breathing catch covid with just a temperature only leading to a test ?
Every type of underlying health issue that would be lethal in most cases has barely left a mark.
No other symptoms , feels fine a week later etc.
Now they are saying its not covid. heads up me arse here.
