This lockdown is going to be way less effective than the first one.

Education still open and loads of places that closed down first lockdown trying to stay open during this one.

We had one of the least restrictive lockdowns in Europe, resulting in us having to lockdown for longer. It will be even worse this time.

Bye Xmas.

Late and lax. Good job.

Arsed about Christmas tbh. Rather than spending an absolute fortune on utter crap, maybe it'll encourage us to look out for each other a bit more so that those who are in need are helped out.

Xmas isn't the main point of my post and I care more about seeing friends and family than buying loads of stuff.

The pertinent point is we need a hard lock down, so it doesn't have to last as long.

The lax lockdowns just draw out the length of the lockdown and will do vastly more economic damage.

You may not care about Xmas but a lot of companies will take massive financial hits if we're in lockdown.

We can always clap again, this time for the hungry children in England, it makes people feel good about themselves after all.

The net is closing in fast. My wife's workplace (which she just started 2 weeks ago!) have had 4 tests come back positive last week and she wasn't feeling well yesterday so she has just been tested.

It's like a crap version of bullseye...look what you could have won, life. :pHopefully not that bad but I get very bad just with normal flu so we'll have to see what happens if she does return a positive test.

Get yourself a TV in the shed just in case.
