What is your solution to bringing down numbers?

Easy to deride people but if you haven't got a better solution then it's pointless.

Its not my job to have solutions. I'm neither a politician nor do I advise the government. We are entitled to expect better from those in power.

My own personal opinion is another lockdown will cause far more long term damage than the benefits it will bring short term in reducing the virus.

We need better adherence to the basics of masks and distance and possibly even strict enforcement. The basics are completely lost on people due to the constant changes made by the government.

The scientists continually asking for more lockdowns don't have a grasp of the misery this will bring to millions who won't be able to work. Its a basic fundamental right that people should be able to go out earn a living and provide for their family.

In fairness if people are still going to work and kids are going to shool they are not really going to stop football where the players are constantly tested.

Professional football is massively tested and is not causing Covid spread. Stopping it would just mean even more boredom over winter.

Highly doubt it will work, it might lower the cases a bit but the spread will carry on at a fairly high rate.

Why should football stop? There's no reason for it to stop. Its probably the safest environment in Britain given they are tested like twice a week.

The lower league testing leaves a lot to be desired.
The Prem testing I can only assume is fine.

Truly laughable, anyone could have predicted that once people are stuck indoors again the virus will spread. How are these people leading the country?

Don't need a crystal ball to predict hospital bed shortage when, in 10 years of this government, capacity has dropped 20% whilst the population has grown by 10%.

I'm not even sure they will close shops tbh, but I think they will pubs, restaurants, gyms etc
