When people say on the stats where it was passed or where its mostly passed? Say a man goes the gym then for food then to work how do you know where he got infected? I dont understand that bit

Aye, good point. Not having school nor uni aged kids, kinda forgot that.

But do the facts bear that out? Cos it makes perfect sense to me.

Me neither but the missus has a lad in high school - They've already been closed a couple of times due to cases

It's too much of a coincidence to me that the rates have flown up as soon as education started up again - Plus the vast majority of cases are in the 10-24 year age bracket

Yep. Its pretty obvious on reflection.

Who would be a politician though? Its totally hobsons choice, no matter who you support.

Yeah it's crap - I don't think any party would come out of this particularly well.

Just a shame that the Tories have failed in pretty much every aspect of this thing though - even the easy wins (Sacking Cummings, Free School Meal extensions, dodgy contracts to dodgy companies etc)

that is the problem with parties, though - they have always and will always act in their own interests rather than the countries

I just hope we as a country do what we did in 1940, 1916, 1685, 1660 and 1641 - get rid of a failing regime. Otherwise allowing them to continue to fail for another few years will sink us.

So 95% to 96% of folk havnt. I am not defending restaurants, I honestly dont get it. As in, where and how folk are getting infected. Uni halls? Likely I guess, and maybe that has bled into the wider communities. See little evidence of schools being a major issue mind.

I still see proper SD every day, masks as well. Are loads of folk just ignoring those simple and effective measures still?
The whole of our society is still open. That's how the infection rate is exploding week on week.

Tier three is a sticking plaster. We know the only way to get on top of this is to have a national lockdown.

France going back into lockdown. I can't believe they didn't turn half term into a 2 week mini one in England. It's like we have the kids with us at home now and the we'll get a few more weeks back at school before going off again. I can't see how they can keep them open being a prime source of transmission.

On course for nearly 2k deaths this week and people still moaning about a lockdown.

You get the country you deserve really sometimes.
