One can see the Tory press trying to find issues in Scotland over the last few months to try to undermine the support for the devolved stance, wouldn't surprise me if more 'issues' here in Wales are to be overblown in the future too, as you can see on these pages, folk are eager to jump to conclusions prematurely.Seems like a strangehillmolehill for people to take a stand on, that's all.
Maybe there's lots of similar indignation in Ireland that we don't see because there's the Irish Sea between us and so it's not newsworthy in England, but maybe there's not ?
Far as I can see, no-ones up in arms because Waterstones and Lakeland can't open in Wales, but people are getting very stressed about the equivalent aisles in Tesco being shut ? But if you saying it's for two years rather than two weeks ( well, probably four or five if we're being honest about it ) helps pass the time, then go for it mate.

Think that lad on the left might be a long lost grandad or something![]()
Yes it is. It's a crisis of epic proportions. That's not my point. It's the fact it's going down to such a minuscule scale.
It's not a government's job to decide what is 'essential' or not to people.
Yes it is. It's a crisis of epic proportions.
I can imagine people like you in the Second World War: "Rations? I'm not having any rations. Why should I have the same as everyone else?"
Rationing access to twitter might be a good thing. No complaints about hunger on Twitter back then either. Rationing is clearly the answer.
My misses is a nurse. They were told today expect to be vaccinated Q1 next year. Will be shocked if vaccine is not approved by Christmas. Hoping by Christmas next year this thing will be over. I want life back
It's an absolute certainty to be available before the spring. Probably by early new year.My misses is a nurse. They were told today expect to be vaccinated Q1 next year. Will be shocked if vaccine is not approved by Christmas. Hoping by Christmas next year this thing will be over. I want life back

It's a crisis that is being used as a mechanism for control.
There is no science behind any of this. And fear is being used to control people.
It isn't going anywhere but it does little damage to the vast majority of people. We've shut down the world for a bad flu.
Another few months - fair enough, let's get through winter. After that governments everywhere must relinquish these daft measures and get on with it. People are being treated far better now than they were in March and April. We have learnt a lot about how to treat this thing.
The people who get it and end up severely hospitalised now will be those who fall into that very vulnerable category. I'm not sure how the Welsh assembly stopping people buying a frying pan for two weeks saves their life.

Jesus wept.
Of course, there are always issues, but no where near as many issues and disasters as those stemming from Westminster. There are issues with Scotland's approach though. You don't have to be part of the Tory press to see that. Sturgeon has lapped this up, the little control freak.
She's killed industry up there just like the tossers in Westminster have.
