Restaurants and bars and cafes etc being closed then has a massive knock on effect to the suppliers of the produce. They then don't require anything from their farmers, growers, brewers etc.

The economy is a cycle. When one industry is shut, there is a bit of a vicious circle effect. You can't just turn the economy on and off like a tap, it doesn't work like that.

Yeah, I get that.

But this "full lock down" stuff, isnt quite "full" is it?

I had a look at them earlier. Its stuff like you cant meet in a garden but a forest is ok that does my nut.

I think it's maybe looking at it in a way where we (gov) don't want to stick you on full lockdown and isolate you off from society, but we also don't want you having garden parties where you'll likely ignore social distancing and continue the spread etc.

So here, we'll (gov) throw you a bone, you can go for a walk in the countryside with your mates.

All these different rules are like a crap board game.

It would be launched out the window now in frustation.

Reminds me of the Calder book, Myth of the blitz.

Today the blitz is pictured as one for all and all for one knees up around the piano singing my old mans dustmen...

When in fact Churchill and the Royal family were roundly booed by Londoners for their indifference to victims of the blitz, and the state made it illegal to seek refuge in the London underground. This only changed and state assistance lent its cap when they concluded rioting was not far off...

I don't think it is in parts of England. There's far more places closing here where I am from 6pm today, and it's inevitable that there will now be huge job losses.

I can't even get my hair cut tomorrow morning now! Almost all these businesses are small businesses, and they can't cope with another shutdown. They say it will be only 4 weeks, but I just don't see that. We never expected the first lockdown to run for over 3 months.

Forgot you were in NI.

They also 100% lied about their stats too.
I'm not sure there is much good evidence to state that as fact.

Very early into the course of the pandemic, there were reports about the level of restrictions that China had imposed, the speed by which they were addressing it as a public health crisis and effectively suspending any individual freedoms to do so.

Whether it’s a fact or not, it hardly justified the rest of the conspiracy theory he was putting out there with regards to China.
