That's true for viruses as a whole, but we're talking specifically about COVID here, and, generally, men have more antibodies ?

See https://www.nhsbt.nhs.uk/news/men-make-more-coronavirus-antibodies-than-women/

Admittedly that data could be out of date now, and there's some debate about whether some males produce what are effectively "faulty" antibodies, which might be part of the reason we don't fare so well, but, far as I know, it's still thought that, on average, men produce more antibodies to COVID than women.

Apparently, the corporate Spivs running the privatised trace and test system are charging up to £7,360 per consultant, per day, and the system itself has racked up costs of 12 Billion pounds.
There are no penalty clauses in the contracts ensuring that however badly firms like Serco perform, they won't suffer.
The rank evils of privatisation stripped bare. Greedy Tory CEOs with their snouts in the trough.

No you're absolutely right. https://www.nhsbt.nhs.uk/covid-19-research/plasma-programme/

Many thanks.

If it challenges Toby Young cultist mantra and that makes me an asshole, I'm one very happy asshole!

I think we've safely established that Pete's approach to critical thinking extends only to his ability to remember and repeat information from the Telegraph, Guido and the Spectator.

The only part of the test and trace system working is run by the NHS.

Funny that. Who'd have thought that eh?

He is making a stand purposely because if he closes he goes under anyway, he states he has support from local MPs etc.

And they have a go fund page if anyone you would like to contribute to paying the fines!

I‘m pleased that people will help with his fines. I hope they also offer to spend time in prison on his behalf....

Bye Pete. As usual you leave when you're exposed.

You've made a valuable contribution to the thread today

No, I leave at the exact same time everyday to go the pub during the week...and the day you ever ‘expose’ me is the day I shall give up going to the pub, so all is well.......
