Liverpool currently has over 500 per 100,000*, which equates to more than one in two-hundred. You have a similar picture in other place within the North.

We started with the same relaxed rules come the end of the Summer and have then had more stringent rules imposed, yet the rate is still much higher here.

We may be treated different in the North, but perhaps there is to some extent a reason for that which is our own making.

It probably is partly our own making but from what im witnessing where i live (wigan)most people are following the rules social distancing ,wearing masks ,shops not letting to many in,bars and restaurants following the rules .can't see it being any better down south. You'll always get some idiots but there's probably some idiots down south as well .Just saying they've not been as quick to bring restrictions in as up here its looking like they've risen the benchmark to bring restrictions in.
What i have noticed when im working in liverpool a lot people aren't wearing masks in petrol stations or small shops which i haven't noticed in most places. Can't comment on bars and restaurants as ive not been any in liverpool.

Its what was happening 2 to 4 weeks ago, and plenty of posters on here were saying it was "life as normal" within large parts of the North., that has led to where you now are.

I feel like the bore of the century, but for weeks and weeks, I have seen pretty much 100% compliance with SD and masks down here. Cant speak for hand washing, obvs, but most spray their trolly and hands at the supermarket.

I can only go by what folk post on here, and what I see down here.

Loads said SD in Liverpool was a joke, (it may well have been in Bristol, but my brief visit to it a few months ago suggested otherwise).

Its quite simple. The virus doesnt care where you live. But if you make it easier for it to transmit, guess what happens? Its 7 months that we have lived with it; go figure.

According to the Labour-voting sheep of the North, the virus is a Tory plot aimed to cripple us all and make us the sexual slaves of those down South, especially that Lunden place.

It's absolutely nothing to do with the retards round here that are utterly incapable of following basic instructions on keeping away from people, keeping their hands clean and being sensible.

I saw a group of about 6 or 7 people last weekend, and we're not talking dossers here as they were all fairly well dressed, hovering around the Whoopsee fridge in Tesco last weekend. The fella working there that was stocking the shelves had to dive out of the way the second he put product on display as the retards formed what can only be described as a rugby scrum in an attempt to get 50p off a pack of chicken. He even shouted at them "There's a pendemic going on you know" as he retreated to safety from the gaggle of freaks.
