Yes you can but also by doing nothing that inaction will eventually lead to a full lockdown when the hospitals are at full or over capacity and it will take months for that backlog to clear like it did earlier this year. In that time the lives of these people will be ruined anyhow. There is no one choice that skirts around that and it's amazing how many people (not saying you are one of them) are trying to round off square pegs.

If you had a time machine you would go back and shutdown end of February when the disease wasn't shooting through the population, close the borders and you would get away with a 2/3 week lockdown instead of the months that we had. In theory that's what needs to happen now before it escalates out of control again. Problem is as you can see from here people only buy in when they can see death all around them. Otherwise it can't be true.

Well that's good to hear. But it does mean you can't be shocked, hurt, saddened, angry or upset if we go back into lockdown if you are not doing your bit to help prevent it.

It is indeed peak time for coughs and colds etc. As soon as I took my granddaughter back to school she developed a cold and cough. Kept her off for two days and she was fine....

Same here, daughter went back and had a cough within a week.

Thankfully the wife didn't immediately go to covid as being the reason!

And the few posts above are the reason why the vaccine isn't the silver bullet we all hope.

Some people wont take it out of fear, a new vaccine that's been rushed, I understand those fears 100%
Some people wont take it "cos they don't need to", can never underesitmate selfishness
Some people wont take it cos anti-vax, MORONS
Some people wont take it cos the virus isn't real

Has to be some sort of accountability.

If you could offer a vaccine and people refused to take it, well if they die it's on them like.

Vaccinate everyone that wants it and sod everyone who doesn't. An actual vaccine , not an unproven one mind you.

When you fill out the test you give age, gender, ethicity and location for certain and maybe a few other details. Would be surprised and pretty mortified if all this info went to waste and wasn't collected for study

Im sure it wont be ignored,I just think it would be interesting to see other stats,at one time there was a high proportion of BAME infections/deaths so was it work related,living conditions etc,anything collected can be used in dealing with it

She’s okay mate, thanks for asking.

It’s more like a heavy head cold than anything else, so she’s uncomfortable rather than ill. My eldest lad ( massive fanny ) has deffo got it too now, as he’s lost his smell and taste today.

Haven't seen any age breakdown with testing at all yet, I'm sure it's somewhere tho.

Seen reports that young women are showing a big increase in positive results.
