They can have their own opinion; however, if they make a big deal of it and try and influence people to flout the law and the restrictions on movement in a pandemic they should be expected to face the consequences. It's a social crime; a crime against the community. Just like those Kopites we all condemned at the Pier Head....right?
I have absolutely no problem with everyone removing masks and opening up the world again.
We going to be controlled imprisoned and sit and rot away until we’re told otherwise?

Incite others to ignore the rule of law on Covid restrictions because you think it's a conspiracy = face the consequences.

Sorry to break it to the libertarian bedwetters, but that's how we roll in democracies.

"Ooooh, Ooooh, the nasty man is saying we cant chat rubbish and encourage others to doubt the reality of a pandemic....he's Joe Stalin incarnate....Oooooh, Oooooh!".

The crime would be incitement to encourage others to flout the law.

How is this at all controversial?

You said prosecute people who don't think covid is a real threat.

That's completely different than inciting anything. Locking people up for an opinion is totalitarian.

My opinion is that there are two extreme opinions out there and both are completely and utter ridiculous.

The first is that covid isn't real. Well it clearly is real and it disproportionately effects our older and vulnerable citizens.

The second view is that we need a long term full lockdown until we eventually get a vaccine. Well if we do that, there won't be anything left for us by the time the vaccine finally comes, and millions will have had their livelihoods, long term health, and futures destroyed.

So now you know I'm talking about incitement you acknowledge it's a good call?
