Just my personal opinion, but anyone who expresses the view that Covid19 is a myth or fabricated or a conspiracy - after tens of thousands of deaths in this country and hundreds of thousands having fallen ill through it - should be prosecuted.

only after tens of thousands have died in THIS country though Right ? Otherwise that’d be you , nice caveat .

I think those who suggest it in the current environment are idiots but jailing people for having an opinion on a topic like this seems absolutely crazy . If they’re suggest protests or whatever then perhaps that’s a different argument but thought crimes aren’t something I’m generally very comfortable with and I accept you’re probably ready with Holocaust legislation in Germany.

The economy will deffo be on its arse and I wouldnt rule out pandemonium on our streets.

Im happy with some form of common sense restrictions but to me I just cant help but feel like we are happy destroying our childrens futures in order to try save largely a demographic of who are at an age where they have already lived a long life and wont likely be around in a number of years regardless of the virus.

Its horrible to think that - my nan is still alive and nearly in her 80's and I'll be heartbroken if anything were to happen to her but she's at an age where anything she catches can be potentially fatal so do we lockdown over everything?
That's the protect over prevent attitude that needs to kick in at some point .

Someone elsewhere told me the average age of death is 82 with covid-19. Can't fact check that like but if that is remotely true then the sheer amount of businesses alone going under if we keep locking down is not really a fair trade off.

We need to protect those vunerable but at some point we have to accept that locking down 20 odd year olds over and over because 80 plus aged people are dying is ridiculous.

Without a vaccine , these numbers will keep going up and down. At some point you have to just stop living in an armegeddon scenario and accept the facts.

I think Dave thinks we live in a country with whopping great gulags to send people to. Either that or we're happy to just murder those we disagree with and bury them in the forest like good old boys.

Again, "the facts" as you describe them are a completely false choice. To reopen the economy fully, hell even to ensure we are protected against the next pandemic, we need a comprehensive public health system. Until this government is either removed or shamed into setting up a proper one, reopening fully now is only going to kill thousands (best case) or tens of thousands (likely case) more nans, grandads, mums and dads (with the odd sickly sibling and child thrown in).

If people are happy for that to happen just so we can return to an economy that already had people on the brink, then they should say so.

There's already been mass gatherings of brain donors on that score.

That's an outrageous and wilful characterisation of what I said.

It's probably closer to the way your own mind works.

Jailing people for having an opinion.

Another classic socialist ideal.

It's an offence to incite violence. Is that wrong?

Anyone inciting people to break the law on Covid19 restrictions is both a) flouting the law, and b ) leads to people being harmed.

For denying a real danger to the population and therby encouraging others to flout restrictions.

Arrest them, charge them, judge them, jail them.
Hahahahaha
So now you want people to not have their own opinion or thoughts? We just agree and sit like a nodding dog because that’s what our Tory lying scum government are telling us?? WOW

Heres my thoughts on it:
Is COVID real? Yes
Is it dangerous? Yes just Like many other viruses.
Are the government and MSM over playing the danger of it? Yes complete scaremongering and I don’t buy it.
Am I scared of it or will live in fear! Absolutely not

So Should I be jailed or prosecuted for having this opinion?
