The media becomes a massive pain at times like these. The endless release of 'information' and opinions from those who are so important that they have to constantly be on the likes of twitter causes all sorts of panic and hysteria. Therefore I've stocked up on DVDs and will finally master the rudiments of clarinet. Balls to the endless news.

Just dawned on me that I can't leave the house for 15 days. Be interested to see how me my wife and 3 year old will be coping in two weeks. We are allowed to walk dogs as long as we go alone which might be a godsend

My brother and his missus have been working from home for the last week. Last week, I was asking him if he wanted to pop over to my house for the weekend and before I got the words "my house" out, he was practically already at my door with a bag and full change of clothes

It really does hit home when you see bars and restaurants in South East Asia being closed down that whilst this is a global crisis, we in the West are lucky enough that our governments will pick up the slack for any loss of earnings. We certainly won't be thrown into poverty but unfortunately, many of the great people who I have met on my travels will not be so lucky :(

That’s not the case for many in the UK.

We all have a different idea on what poverty is but my idea of poverty is what I have witnessed on the streets of South East Asia and South Asia and I have not seen that at all in the UK. Sure, there are some people, like myself actually, who have to forgo an iPad Pro and instead settle for an Acer Chromebook :(

....mumps can be quite bad in adults, take care Matey.
I started getting pain on Saturday, was very bad yesterday, the swelling has gone down a bit today so hopefully I'm over the worst of it.. it's really a sore dose.

It's not even what you vote for, the cold hard reality of it is, if we want a health care system that allows people to live into their late 70s, 80s, 90s and beyond then we all will have to come to terms with the fact that every so often mother nature will thin the herd, be it a flu that vaccine is inefficient against or a bacterial infection immune to our antibiotics.. good health care is something we all want but every once in a while mother nature will let us know we are not in charge.
this is a man made virus not mother nature

Was thinking of booking an air BnB for myself the night before quarantine so I got stranded away from my wife and boy for couple of weeks
