Here's a question.

Why is it the north being put into local lockdowns when the south , including London is just as bad if not worse?

They are getting similar numbers to Liverpool , if not more. They have an r rating of anywhere up to 1.3, similar or worse than Liverpool.

Why not lock down London as well?

Issued by a Constable. The High/Supreme Court will throw that out the door because a Con. simply can't make 'life changing' decisions like that fine would be.

He'll get a £100 fine, maximum. The police hierarchy in general have no desire to enforce the restrictions being brought in unless very specific circumstances.

Of course they can - anyone caught having large parties or raves = jail sentence do not pass go do not collect £200.

Believe me the fear alone will put an end to most of it. Some 18 year old isnt arsed by a telling off and a small fine at most which likely never gets paid.

There was a girl in my secondary school that hosted a party for her bday every year. Absolute carnage in a mansion. Used to lose doors and all sorts inside.
