Unless you yourself have stuck 100% to all the rules and regs (I doubt it) then you can't complain if you go into another lockdown.

There's a hierarchy of people we need to be protecting. My point is that everything we do has to be calculated to protect the (roughly) 2.5M people we know to have shouldered the worst of this virus so far and will be asked to do so for the foreseeable. I dont wish to see people lose thor jobs over subordinating everything to that main objective, and there's no need for it to happen in the volume being discussed on here - if it does happen that way, it'll have been a political decision not to step in and save jobs. It's not inevitable the hosiptality sector would have mass unemployment, it'd be political policy to let that sector go the wall. I dont think in a month of Sundays the government would or could do that.
On the near future: I disagree with you that we could be years away from a vaccine breakthrough - so no generation is going to lose their ability to make a living. A combination of reordering the way we live, adding drugs to the list of those which can aid a recovery from infection, and a vaccine that hands us at least enough protection to get through the flu seasons are feasible. We'll adapt and adjust.
Never called anyone mouth breathers; and people who flout guidlelines there to help the majority get through this pandemic are scallies and lumpen.

Can anybody say they’ve stuck to the rules 100%?
I can’t. Life happens, and there’s been occasions where I’ve been complacent and I think it’s happened with the majority from time to time.

My kids school have bubbles. Spent fortunes on kit for social distancing. The " bubble " thing will deffo help.
A kid tested positive in my lads school yesterday and they sent his " bubble " home, rather than the entire year.
My lads school are also giving them a weeks work online every week, just in case they get sent home.

Well you can complain like. People are entitled to not agree with another lockdown. I certainly don't.
The overwhelming vast majority of people, myself included, have tried their best to follow the rules. But it's not a sustainable long term policy and people will start to gradually comply less, even if it's only subconsciously. Especially since logic has gone out the window on a lot of things.
when I was ill, I kept 100% to the rules. After then I’ve only broken them in specific, limited ways.
