Hospital figures - 18 deaths were announced today, up 11 on yesterday and up 8 on last Thursday. 15 were in English hospitals, up 8 on both yesterday and last with 5 occurring in the past 10 days. The 7 day rolling average rises to 8.43

All settings - for the 28 day cut off, 13 deaths were announced today, up 3 on yesterday and up one on last Thursday. The 7 day rolling average rises very slightly to 7.14

There has been no data announced for the 60 day and Legacy/no cut off as yet
 
Bit odd the situation in Czech. They had 680 cases yesterday, which is a record number for the 2nd day in a row, and marks a pretty consistent "2nd spike", and yet they're considerably more relaxed than they were in March when they were among the first to shut things down. Even the pride in mask wearing they had back then has largely gone, such that usage seems incredibly lackadaisical among the public.

It seems to me that the " fear factor " has gone, due people by and large not dying in large numbers anymore.

Plus the the youngsters have caught onto the fact that it`s not going to do anything to them and are behaving accordingly.

Indeed. They're arguing that the majority of cases are asymptomatic or with mild symptoms, but it's not stopping country after country putting them onto the naughty step. Germany are rumoured to be next.
