I’m not really complaining , the conversation just organically took me to a point I’d noticed . It just felt a little farcical is all .
The only potential damage I can see is it feeds into those who see a conspiracy or overreact to the situation .

Honestly not sure why the scientific community invests so much money and time into education, research and state-of-art equipment when they have Kenshin's gut feeling to do it for a fraction of the price

Funny thing is , you are a massive hypocrite. When you log on to pass comment on a players performance or the manager etc you are doing the exact same thing as I have done in this thread.
I'm not allowed my opinion on covid-19 yet it's fine to talk about players like we are all qualified experienced football coaches.

It’s football chat. It’s nonsense and means nothing. We all talk in the pub like we have an idea of what we’re saying or to engage in banal small talk at work. It’s entertainment. Majority of pundits (Experts) are trying to create discussions where there isn’t particularly any to be had. It’s a fairly simple game.
Scientists may well be wrong at times. Sure dominant narratives may shift, however they are far more likely to be right than you or me so if they advise that we should follow a specific course of action then it is in our interests to pay attention to this and not just decide on the course of action that suits us best.

Hospital figures - 3 is the announced total, down 4 on yesterday and down 1 on last Sunday. Just one was in English hospitals, the lowest since the pandemic hit, 5 down on yesterday and 1 down on last week and it occurred on Friday

Did I miss the disclaimer on this particular thread that specified it was the only thread on the site where you can't pass an opinion on the subject.
People may not agree with such but that is the point in this site right?
So what if people don't like my opinion? It's a forum , there is no right or wrong. It's pretty clear that even scientists don't know everything about covid-19 and won't do for a while.
It's rather worrying that people want to take the opinion of one poster and apply right or wrong like I'm held up in some higher esteem than others just so they can knock them back down using their own. Why not just scroll on past if you don't agree? My opinion is not more important than anyone elses lol
As for 9/11 , ironically I can tell you my opinion on that front but I'm sure it would be cross examined and made a big deal on how it's wrong.
