308 deaths in Europe yesterday while cases have been spiking for a few weeks, I've seen articles that say a mutated strain is now dominant in Europe and the US, this strain is apparently more infectious but less deadly this coupled with improvements in how cases are medically treated would be good news.

How do you know they are Muslims? There is more than one religion in Asian communities.
Don't be silly, they're all the same aren't they and can be lobbed into one pot?

It's totally fine to ignore Coptic Christians, Armenian Christians, Maronites, Buddhistsm Sikhs and Hinduhs isn't it? All Muslims are the same too, aren't they?

That's not to say that ethnicities or religious groups can't be playing a part in spikes, but people have got to be very careful to make baseless assumptions.

The religious make up of Pendle is 53.7% Christian, 21.5% No religion, 17.4% Muslim, 0.3% Buddhist, 0.1% Hindu.

The maths does it every time....I expect you will be called a racist any minute.....

Bizarre isn't it. The lad from a predominately white backwater implying I'm racist. I grew up with Asians, both Hindu and Muslim. I know their families, they played with our kids, our daughter's living with an Asian lad.

My missus works in a hospital in the catchment area, with colleagues with families who've been disproportionally affected, one of her colleagues has been buried as a result. Two of the lads that work for us are from Asian families in Preston, whose kids we'd normally regularly see, but havn't been able to for months.

They're all concerned about how the virus is spreading in their communities, not least because Asians admitted to hospitals are more likely to end up in ICU. But Nymz, who plainly couldn't understand a reasoned argument if it slapped him in the face, think's it wrong to acknowledge there's a problem.

Not since the days of @Ashtonian has there been such a level of fuckwittery on here.

I posted yesterday that the number of deaths dont stack up with the number of reported infections.

It definitely seems like the virus is starting to lose its potency - not saying it still isnt deadly but hopefully it keeps the deaths low into the winter.
