Interesting that... Very few white people considering that 'white' is 80 odd% of the UK population?

The numbers are infections per 100,000 mate. The white population of the UK is something like 85%, whereas the Asian community makes up 7 or 8%.

So, as a simplified example, if Asian's were 10 times more likely ( which, is, very roughly, correct ) to test positive than white people last week, then, overall, there'd be roughly the same number of white people testing positive as there were Asian people.

Nelson, brierfield, Colne and barnoldswick.
Only Nelson and brierfield have large Asian communities, the other 2 have virtually none.

Nelson and brierfield have now been given stricter lockdown measures. The other 2 haven't. In fact Colne and barnoldswick have virtually had no cases.

So are the government and local council racists?

Again, do you have the stats, that say the rising cases in those areas are of BAME people... no, you don’t.

They might have high BAME population but they don’t have 100% BAME population do they.
