Agreed, and conversely, even if it was that reason, the government couldn't release it as it'd basically be an incitement to hatred.

This community also tend to have generational family living under the same household, rather then banging them off into Nursing homes...

Oh, well likely because in pubs there’s more of an effort to social distance and lots of information being gathered for track & trace.

To be fair, the theory probably does have some legs. His way of putting it isn't subtle, but it's hard to fault the underlying logic, and local politicians are working especially hard in Asian communities in places like Bolton, Pendle and Blackburn to get the message across about COVID.
